“You can't go back and change the beginning,
but you can start where you are
and change the ending.“ (C.S. Lewis)

There are times when everything feels like too much, too fast, or fully overwhelming. Sometimes we lose our balance or get stuck in a distressing situation – for instance after significant life events, in family, relationship, or professional crises. Subtle yet noticeable symptoms, such as sleep disturbances, inner restlessness, anxiety, or pain could also arise.
In my practice for psychotherapy & coaching for adults, teenagers, and children aged six and up, you can pause, sort things out, and find new strength. Together, we could work out how relief and change can become possible for you – tailored to your needs and step by step. In this process you are the expert on your life, I listen attentively, provide insightful impulses, and accompany you with my competence on your journey – in German, English, or Polish.
Psychotherapy
Individual therapy
In individual therapy, I meet you with esteem, exactly where you are in your life. We can explore whatever moves you, whether it's a desire for change, a need to understand past patterns, or challenges such as:
Burnout, depression, grief, or anxiety
Life crises, questions of identity, aging
Navigating new roles (e.g., parenthood, retirement), or relocation
Conflicts in relationships or family, and separations
Stress from school, university, or work
Health-related burdens, or traumatic experiences
Psychotherapy can help you bring clarity to inner turmoil, strengthen existing, often unconscious resources, and make new paths visible. You may experience how relieving and healing it can be to feel truthfully heard – and how new perspectives and small but important steps in the desired direction can emerge from a therapeutic dialogue.
Couples therapy
As a couple, you also change over time and often face different issues than in the initial stage of your relationship. Pressures from families of origin, work or financial stress, as well as illness, or the unprocessed past of one partner, can impact the current relationship. This often creates dynamics that can impair your satisfaction in the partnership, such as constant arguments, unresolved conflicts regarding the division of roles, lack of intimacy, or differing future scenarios.
In couples therapy, we jointly create a space where both partners can have their voice, show their wishes, disappointments, and fears, and be heard. A space where new perspectives can be gained and different ways of interacting with each other can be learned. In a structured way and with mutual respect, a future vision for your relationship can be developed, or, should you decide on it, a preparation for separation can also be carried out.
Family therapy
Families are in constant transition; children and adults grow older, separations take place, and new family structures emerge. Relationships, as well as the roles that each person – often unconsciously – takes on within the family, change over the years. Generational conflicts, parenting issues, difficulties in everyday family life, can result from this. Often, the birth of a child, its autonomy development, or divorce, the loss of a family member, necessitate adjustments that families cannot manage on their own.
In family therapy, I offer you a space where the needs and perspectives of all family members are actively fostered and you can effectively work on coping with your current challenges. I support you in clarifying roles and individual boundaries of your family members, as well as in decoding the current communication and conflict patterns. Based on this, the emotional bonds within the family and the mutual support for the personal development of each individual can be strengthened.
Coaching
I offer coaching in the following areas:
Individual Coaching: For professional and private matters, or for those seeking personal development
Parent Coaching / Counseling
Coaching for Manager/Leader, or Project Manager
Team Coaching, for team development, or in case of reorganization, crisis, mobbing
As a systemic psychotherapist and a graduate of the Vienna University of Economics, I am qualified to provide coaching, counseling, and supervision. I always align my approach with your values and competencies, drawing upon my many years of interdisciplinary experience.
About me
Born in Warsaw, I spent much of my teenage time in Toronto before settling in Vienna 30 years ago – where I live together with my husband and our two children.
In Vienna, the birthplace of psychotherapy, I studied Systemic Psychotherapy and gained practical experience in various institutions:

-
At the renowned Institute for Couple and Family Therapy, I worked in German and English with couples and families with children and young adults.
-
At the Hietzing Hospital, Department of Psychiatry and Psychosomatics, I became familiar with tailored support offerings for patients with various mental illnesses, and what shall be done when the body shows symptoms such as pain, that can severely impair daily functioning, but are not medically explainable.
-
My involvement in the Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic of ÖAS Vienna, as well as in the Maimonides Center, where I also worked with elderly people, forms a further foundation of my psychotherapeutic work.
In addition, I have an interdisciplinary academic background: a PhD degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, as well as studies in History of Art at the University of Vienna. For over 20 years, I have been guiding individuals, teams, and organizations through transformative change – as a management consultant, project manager, and executive in an international corporate environment, as well as a lecturer at the university.
My most recent publication:
„A reawakening of trauma as a narrative in age – a systemic perspective“. In: Systeme, Interdisziplinäre Zeitschrift für systemtheoretisch orientierte Forschung und Praxis. Jg. 39, 1/2025, S.24-41
